What is more, I am crochet this pumpkin with 6 mm MonoMey Studio cord. You will need about 50 meters of cord to create 1 crochet pumpkin. And to crochet with this cord I was using 8 mm crochet hook. Of course, you will also need a cinnamon stick. You can get all you need to crochet the same pumpkin with my crochet kit.
You can use any type of bulky yard too. For crocheting these pumpkins I was also using super bulky merino yarn. You can also use something similar.
Now, let's start crocheting these cute pumpkins. One more question that I want to answer: How long it takes to crochet one pumpkin? I will say that it till take from 20 minutes up to 1 hour. So it is very quick and easy crochet, and it is perfect, even if you are a beginner. Below I will share step by step written crochet pattern and below you will find crochet tutorial, how to crochet these cute pumpkins. Enjoy crocheting!
Crochet pumpkin pattern
NOTE: If you want to make bigger or smaller pumpkin. If you follow these steps and my pattern, you will be able to make any size pumpkin you want. You should do this:
- Chain as much as you want. When making single crochet, make one stitch less than you made chains. And repeat the same number of single crochet all the rows.
- Stop making the rows when your rows are 3 times longer than the first chain you made.
· Make a knot. Leave the end of the cord longer (about 30 cm).
Row 1: Chain 13.
Row 2: Now you will start working back on the chain you just made. Skip one stitch and make 12 single crochet.
Row 3: Chain 1. Turn the work to the other side. Now you will be working on the top of the single crochet you just made. Make 12 single crochet in the loop that is in front of you.
Below you can see, where you have to make 12 stitches.
After this round:
Row 4: Chain 1. Turn the work to the other side. Skip 1 stitch and make 12 single crochet. Below you can see, where to start and where to make 12 single crochet.
And the end of the row it looks like this:
Now you will have to repeat rows 3 and 4 one by one till you make row 27.
Row 5: Chain 1. Turn the work to the other side. Now you will be working on the top of the single crochet you just made. Make 12 single crochet in the loop that is in front of you.

Row 6: Chain 1. Turn the work to the other side. Skip 1 stitch and make 12 single crochet. Below you can see, where to start and where to make 12 single crochet.
At the end of this row:
Now you will have to repeat rows 3 and 4 (or rows 5 and 6, which are the same) one by one till you make row 27. You have to make row 27, which is the last one.
And this is how it looks like at the end of the row 27. You can see here the good side of the project.
Joining two sides together: Now we will have to join two sides together. Put the good side inside and fold the project.
Before starting, chain 1. While making single crochet join two ends. Taking one loop from one side and one loop from the other side. You have to make 12 single crochet.
