For crocheting these placemats I am using 7 mm or 8 mm crochet hook.

For crocheting this placemat I am using one and the only 6 mm MonoMey Studio macrame cord. This cord was specially designed for crocheting. This unique macrame cord is produced in Lithuania (Europe). MonoMey Studio cord is soft and easy to crochet with and it is sturdy enough to keep the shape of the projects. Your projects with MonoMey Studio cord will last forever.

To crochet four placemat syou will need 220 yards/200 meters of 6 mm MonoMey Studio cord.

Crochet round placemat pattern

I've never crochet before but wanted to give it a try when I saw the lovely placemats. The video was great with step by step instructions and I have created in 3 evenings two beautiful placemats.
